The long awaited Millennium Town Park on the Island of Jersey was officially opened to the public in October 2011. Landscape architects Burns and Nice chose Omos litterbins and benches for the project. The idea for the park came about following a petition from 16,400 people, the result brings much needed green space to the north east of town.

The Park’s central attraction is a giant water feature, an impressively imposing stainless steel structure from which spills a continuous curtain of water. Positioned in front of this are three s66 stone benches with under-lights which at night give off a gentle glow and so add to the illumination of the area. A bespoke stainless steel version of the s45 litterbin was also chosen for the project including a number of three stream recycling units.
