Dublin Landings plaza renovation (part of Project Wave) reshaped this 10,000m2 area of Dublin Docklands into a vibrant, pedestrian-first urban quarter. Designed by Bernard Seymour Landscape Architects, the public realm serves as a social nexus, seamlessly connecting residential and commercial blocks via the newly extended New City Street and central plaza.

The design is a high-quality ‘third space’, with an aesthetic that reflects the Irish coastal landscape. Bespoke Omos seating is strategically integrated with planters, native trees and granite menhirs. Materials were selected for their tactile, robust qualities, utilizing a palette of natural wood and granite to echo the industrial heritage of the Docklands while offering modern comfort.
The traffic-free layout slows the pace of the city, providing safe, attractive avenues for café spill-out and community interaction. The project bridges the gap between functional transit and a lived-in neighbourhood, significantly enhancing the daily experience and well-being of the local community.
